Mr. and Mrs. David Patton

Keira and David were married on May 21, 2008. I know this is a little out of order but considering this is wedding season, it takes time for the photographers to get them back to me.

Keira and David were married at the Conservatory Gardens and couldn't have asked for a better day. It was sunny and beautiful and warm. The bride was all smiles and so was the groom. The groom came in full regalia decked out the way a Scotsman should.

It was hard for me to be able to only pick out 50 pics but I do hope you enjoy. Many thanks to Rev. Leslie Cohen for a wonderful ceremony, Jen Davis for photography and Chris Limos for getting them there safe and sound. As always, if it weren't for Carol this wouldn't be possible. All arrangement were made through Affiance-Events and The Bridal Consultant.

Claire and Gary

Claire and Gary were married on May 1, 2009 at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park. As you can see, spring has sprung in the park and this makes for lovely backdrops for any wedding.

This was a more casual couple but very very nice. They brought quite the crowd with them to celebrate their lovely event. We started precisely at 3:00pm with clouds glooming in the background. As usual Rev. Leslie performed a wonderful ceremony while Trix Rosen photographed the entire event.

As you can see, purple was the color of choice and Flowers by Richard gave them exactly what they wanted. Once all the I Do's were said, pictures taken, the drizzle came and then the heavens opened up.

All in all, it was another lovely day.

Jayanne and Nigel

Jayanne and Nigel celebrated their nuptials on April 24, 2009 at 4:00pm at Belvedere Castle in Central Park. Another lovely day for another wonderful couple. The photographer, Giovanni, started with photos at the Hudson Hotel and then off they went on a 7 minuted ride to the park.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. Leslie Cohen who always does a wonderful job.

Carol Campanella performed onsite coordination in NY and Affiance-Events scheduled all vendors and was a liason between or coordinators in the UK, White Sand Weddings and the couple while in the states.

Thank You

I just wanted to share with you a letter that our UK coordintator has received from our lastest clients, Maggie and Chris.

Dear Lisa,

A big big thank you to you and all of those involved with our wedding preparation and ceremony. We had a fantastic day in a fabulous venue and the weather although changeable (snow in the morning!) was kind to us giving a fair amount of sunshine during the service and photo's after. Special thanks to Angela and Carol in NY for pulling it all together and the Minister Susanna Weiss and photographer who both were fantastic and really made the wedding special for us, Please pass on our gratitude to all of the team. The day ran smooth from start to finish with everything including the Limo and getting our venue "Ladies Pavilion" after some doubt beforehand all working out on what was for us a wonderful day. Many thanks and we look forward in receiving the pictures from the event.

Very best regards, Chris and Maggie (Mr & Mrs).

Maggie and Chris Keogh

Maggie and Chris celebrated their wedding on April 8th, 2009 at 2:30pm in Central Park. One of the loveliest and easiest couples to work with. This is one of many couples who have fallen into our little debacle going on in Central Park. We don't know when the work will start so we tell them to talk a walk through and determine if they want location A or location B. Location A (Ladies Pavilion) came through for us. And how beautiful it looks. As you can see the forsythia are in bloom and I believe the purple is wisteria. What a lovely backdrop this makes for any wedding.

After the ceremony the couple extended their photography time by taking pictures elsewhere in the park. So you will see Bethesda Terrace in the background. They made their final destination stop at Tavern on the Green where they were picked up by a Horse and Carriage to ride through the park. Their limo met them there to take them back to their hotel.

Many thanks to Susann Weiss for officiating Trix Rosen for the lovely photos, Flowers by Richard for the bouquet and buttonholes, and Carol Campanella as our on site coordinator.

This wedding was originated by Lisa Burton, our UK consultant and owner of The Bridal Consultant and Affiance-Events as the US coordinators and liaisons.
